Editorial take
A steady weekly CISSP study companion. Shon Gerber, a CISSP since 2009 with CISO, SOC manager and professor roles behind him, alternates two formats: a 30 to 45 minute lesson on one exam objective (labeled by domain and sub-domain, such as 5.5 identity lifecycle or 7.6 incident management), and a shorter practice-question episode that walks through why each answer is right or wrong. Since 2025 most lessons open with a current incident and map it back to the objective, which makes dry material stick. For a student, it is useful for reinforcing domains on a commute, not as a primary text. Know what it is: a free funnel for Gerber's paid CISSP Cyber Training courses, plugged in every episode, and a growing share of the feed is replays.
