About
Cloudflare for Startups offers platform credits across the full product range, including Workers, R2 object storage, D1, Pages, and the security and networking suite. R2 is the standout for most teams because Cloudflare charges nothing for egress at any volume.
The program has three tiers, numbered from the top down. Tier 3 is $10,000 for bootstrapped or self-funded startups that have raised under $1M. Tier 2 is $100,000 for startups under $5M raised and funded by an affiliated partner. Tier 1 is $350,000 for startups with $5M+ raised and funded by an affiliated partner. The old BOOTSTRAPPED promo code is gone; the bootstrapped route is now Tier 3.
Every tier also requires: founded within the last 10 years, building a technology product, a valid public website, activity on LinkedIn, X, or GitHub, no previous approval into the program, and a for-profit business applying from a domain-matching business email. Credits are valid for one year or until consumed, with no extensions. Review typically takes about 48 hours.
