The Twenty Minute VC

Hosted by Harry Stebbings

High-velocity interviews with venture capitalists and founders.

Interview Weekly 30–60 min· ~1500 episodes· Started 2015

Editorial take

Harry Stebbings has interviewed nearly every name-brand VC alive and a fair share of the late-stage founders too. The show's strength is volume and access; the weakness is that high-velocity interviewing produces shallow questions on technical or operational topics. Treat it as an industry-pulse podcast, not a learning podcast, you'll know who's saying what about market direction, but you won't leave with a framework you can apply.

Listen if you …

  • you want a wide read on what venture capitalists are saying right now
  • you're early in your career and want to hear how founders pitch their companies
  • you can listen at 1.5–2x to get through the volume

Skip if you …

  • you want depth or contrarian takes, questions stay surface-level by format design
  • you find the rapid-fire pacing exhausting

About the show

Harry Stebbings' venture-and-founder interview show, named for the original 20-minute format that's since stretched. Output volume is unmatched in its category, Harry has interviewed an order of magnitude more named VCs than any competing show.

The format is breadth-over-depth. If you want to keep a finger on what venture is talking about week-to-week, this is the most efficient show. If you want one perspective fully explored, look elsewhere.
